Garden Variety is an Athens, Georgia-based five-piece funk band. They perform both original compositions and covers of 70’s funk and soul classics. They won a UGA Battle of the Bands in April 2022 and played live on WUOG 90.5. They have experience playing public shows in a variety of venues as well as private events like wedding receptions.
Garden Variety covers classics from artists like Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Bill Withers, Tower of Power and many more. Recordings are linked below.
