Who We Are
Garden Variety is an Atlanta/Athens based five-piece funk & soul band. They perform both original compositions and covers of 70’s classics. Formed in 2020 by music students at the University of Georgia, they continue to share their love of music with others through live performances. Influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Vulfpeck, they are making their mark on the local music scene, bringing with them a unique blend of funk, jazz, soul and rock.
